  • RECIPE consortium kick-off

We are very happy to announce the start of RECIPE!  On 14 November, we kicked off our consortium with an engaging meeting.

The consortium brings together experts in risk engineering, energy networks, climate science, digital twins, machine learning, and public policy. We are excited to collaborate closely with infrastructure owners and leverage our collective expertise.

  • Work package 1 kick-off

The RECIPE consortium kicked off its work on identifying hazards affecting Switzerland’s energy system under different climate, socio-economic, and energy scenarios. Our goal? To build a shared understanding of key terminology and begin consolidating the scenarios shaping our research.

    Key takeaways from our discussion:

Trends: Observable patterns or change over time based on past and present data.
Scenarios: Possible future developments based on a coherent and internally consistent set of assumptions.
Storylines: Internally consistent outcomes under a given scenario.
Hazards: Events with undesirable consequences, with a given intensity and probability of occurrence.
