About

The RECIPE consortium collaborates with different partners and is looking to collaborate with further interested stakeholders from the energy sector, industry, public administration, and society.

Our goal and approach

The RECIPE consortium aims to foster a sustainable and resilient energy future for Switzerland, aligned with the country’s energy and climate policy goals. It studies the risks, associated with the energy transition and climate change, that Switzerland can be exposed to in the coming 25-30 years, and proposes resilience measures and strategies.

It translates the main research findings, data and knowledge to accessible information and derives actionable recommendations in close dialogue and collaboration with collaboration partners and relevant stakeholders from the energy sector, industry, public administration and society.

The transdisciplinary approach adopted in RECIPE fosters a deeper understanding of risks, risk mitigation strategies, and trade-offs associated with the energy transition and climate change. It also enables science-based strategic decisions, legislation, governance, and resource allocation by policymakers and decision-makers across the energy sector, industry, public administration, and society. Furthermore, it equips researchers, consultants, and energy professionals with knowledge and data, facilitating innovation and informed decision-making to advance the energy transition.
